A group of federal judges hastily postponed an emergency meeting that was scheduled to take place Wednesday to discuss concerns about President Donald Trump and the Justice Department’s intervention in politically charged cases.
Late this afternoon, Trump had both Lt. Colonel Alexandar Vindman and his twin brother, Lt. Colonel Yevgeny Vindman, escorted from the White House grounds. Lt. Colonel Alexandar had testified in the House impeachment inquiry when ordered by subpeona by the House Intelligence Committee.
The House has formally delivered the impeachment charges against President Donald J. Trump to the Senate, setting up the third presidential impeachment trial in U.S. history. Trump will be forever etched in history as the third president impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives.
On Friday morning, December 13, 2019, history was made with the House Judiciary Committee approving the two Articles of Impeachment against the current president of the United States.
