Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ed FitzGerald released the following statement on recently-passed HB 483, which opened the door to pay-to-play in state politics and government.

“Ohio Statehouse Republicans have decided to make Ohio the epitome of the pay to play state. Rather than working to address the concerns of Ohioans and help the tens of thousands of Ohio families living pay check to pay check, they’re opening the floodgates for Mark Kvamme and others to create a culture of corporate corruption. Governor Kasich needs to speak out and get his friends in the statehouse in line, rather than standing by quietly and reaping the benefits of someone else’s dirty work.”
