Today, David Pepper, Democratic Candidate for Ohio Attorney General, announced his concrete plan to end the cycle of pay-to-play in how the Attorney General’s office awards certain special counsel and other contracts.

State attorney general candidate David Pepper said on Monday he would make advocating for voter rights a priority if elected this fall and criticized incumbent Mike DeWine for his record on election law issues.
Pepper, a Cincinnati Democrat, said DeWine, a Greene County Republican, has repeatedly defended state-passed election laws that were found unconstitutional or blocked by the courts, including those addressing early voting hours, provisional ballot handling and third-party ballot access.

John Kasich at 40%, Ed FitzGerald at 38%, Libertarian Charlie Earl at 6%

As Ohio economy falters, more than 40,000 jobless Ohioans stand to lose benefits on Dec. 28th
In a letter to Governor Kasich, Cuyahoga County Executive and Democratic candidate for governor Ed FitzGerald today urged action to prevent over 40,000 jobless Ohioans from having their unemployment benefits cut off on December 28th when the Emergency Unemployment Compensation program is set to expire.
